have verified photos if I can find specimens to photograph. Some

Discussion of the Liguus fasciatus spp.
The fasciatus is widespread throughout the main Island of Cuba, the
offshore keys and Isla de Pinos (the largest offshore key / island south of Cuba).

type locality, holotype or paratype depository and publication of description.

Liguus fasciatus luteolozonatus Guitart 1945 -
Type locality: Finca Ojo de Agua, Lomas de Banao, Sancti Spiritus,
Province of Las Villas, Cuba.
Holotype: Collection Guitart No. ??,

Liguus fasciatus mariae Clench 1935 -
Type locality: Ojo de Agua, near Cayo Magueyal, Province of Pinar del Rio, Cuba.
Holotype: Museum of Comparative Zoology (Harvard) MCZ 94,224

Comment: The holotype (MCZ 94,224) is pictured in Abbott's
"Compendium of Landshells". The L.f. mariae paratype shown above is
from the collection at the Harvard Museum of Comparative Zoology.
